Greensboro Economic Development Alliance
Greensboro Economic Development Alliance (GEDA) is focused on recruiting new companies to Greensboro and Guilford County as well as helping existing companies expand. GEDA also provides advocacy and issue resolution services to existing companies to remove any barriers to growth they encounter. The mission of GEDA is to facilitate the creation of high quality jobs, attract new capital investment, and improve both per capita income and quality of life.
GEDA is ensuring Greensboro's future success by cultivating high growth industries today. The Alliance markets Greensboro using a targeted industry cluster strategy, which encompasses five primary clusters: Aviation, Transportation & Logistics, Advanced Manufacturing & Advanced Materials, Data Centers, IT, and Financial Services, and the Life Sciences. This strategy enables us to maximize the unique combination of a young, well-educated labor force, excellent power and fiber reliability, superior highway infrastructure, the research capabilities of our universities, and the strengths of our existing industries. This holistic approach to economic development capitalizes on the connections between industry, higher education, and our workforce development assets, guaranteeing that we never miss an opportunity for growth in Greensboro and Guilford County.
